Our Itinerary

Hi All!


We are almost packed and getting ready to go! We thought we'd shared our intended itinerary/plans with you, but as a wise friend once told me "plans are made to be broken"... so... we will see where we end up.

Tuesday, April 27th- our flight leaves at 11:30pm from JFK. We have a long layover in London before we fly to Cape Town.

Thursday, April 29th- we arrive in Cape Town at 8:00am. FINALLY! We are picking up a car and will spend the rest of the day exploring Cape Town. Rebecca arrives Thursday night!!!!

Friday, April 30th- Hike Lions Head Mountain, explore Cape Town

Saturday, May 1st- We are driving around the wine country, "vineyard hopping"

Sunday, May 2nd- We explore the Cape of Good Hope

Monday, May 3rd- Bec flies back to Port Elizabeth, Sarah and Justin drive towards Knysna, along the Garden Route

Tuesday, May 4th- Sarah and Justin continue driving the Garden Route, ending in Port Elizabeth to meet up with Bec again.

Wednesday, May 5th- Sarah and Justin head to the Sibuya Game Reserve for their 1 night Safari.

Thursday, May 6th- we finish up our Safari and head back to PE to meet up with Bec.

Friday, May 7th- explore PE with Bec

Saturday, May 8th- we leave around lunch time to fly back to London, then to JFK.

Sunday, May 9th- we land around 11am at JFK.


The trip seems so short when I write it out that way! We will be back with more later.
