The middle of Cape Town is hustling and bustling with excitement. We grabbed a smoothie for lunch and started our city center tour at an indoor African market. There are several little sections/stands with all sorts of trinkets, artwork, jewelry, and kitchen stuff are sold. We then headed to Green Market Square which is an outdoor version of what was inside. Here we found ourselves haggling and bartering til we ended up with half a trunk full of awesome loot! wahoo! We found some really interesting things.
The market goods are very similar in each stand, we actually wonder if the stuff is really made in China and shipped over. Justin almost got a great price on a set of book ends by giving the seller a half drank cup of coffee. You can basically barter anything, they would have taken the clothes off our back if we let them! We bought some fun things and walked around for the rest of the afternoon.
For dinner we met up with some friends of Rebecca's from back home, Jamie from KTown and Will from GLP. Right before dinner we made a last minute to pick up Jamie and head to the top of Singal Hill to watch the sunset. What an excellent decision! The sunset was beautful, especially from way up over the top of Cape Town.

For Dinner we went to Mama Africa where we had a great meal and listened to some awesome African-ized versions of American songs. We then went to a bar called Neighborhood where we threw back a few while playing Jenga. Neighborhood has an excellent atmosphere with couches to lounge on while drinking some cocktails. We eventually drove our friends home and headed in for the night in order to pack in as much as we could the next day.
